DTR is correct, and I really can't recall any Windows-only fixes to BZFlag for 2.0, so best bet is what DTR said.

nader: heh, that one actually made me laugh a bit. Sure, I do things like that all the time. I think the worst was once when I heard a police siren outside in real life, and thought that someone in the game with GM locked on to me. I realised it was a real siren outside, not from the game, but it wa...

Hooray! I am really excited for this release, despite testing it a lot through development :) I can't wait to play, especially now that I have fast DSL, much more limitless than that old 56k :) Thanks for the great work, devs!

What is the exact error message it tells you? What version are you using?

If you are running another BZFlag server, that is why.

Make sure you are connected to the internet, and other basic stuff.

If you don't have a website, you could upload the image to BZBB and use that link.

When you start a new topic, or reply, there is a button that says "Img" below the subject box. Click it, and customize the inserted code in the message box.

The secret isn't entirely out, because if you want to do a little extra secret trick with Laser, just press the REMOVED DUE TO USER BEING STUPID button when you have Laser flag. I have tried it myself, and it really is something to trick people with because it makes your tank flash, so it is visible...

This would be bad because then one would know what is behind them, eliminating the use of Stealth and Invisible Bullets. Other than that, it could be a good idea.

What type of things happen? Does the server go slower, does your FPS drop, do things start crashing?

The only thing I could think of would be too many objects or very complex objects, but you already said there aren't, so it really beats me.

Patlabor221: huh? I was responding to RPG's message of the two commits, not going OT reasonless and senseless. It didn't change the topic at all, of the two responses since my last message, neither have been in response to my last response about the commits, therefore no topic has been changed, and ...

Ahh, I took a look at the bork edit thing, and indeed it was a good commit. I believe I owe an apology to DTRemenak, at the time I made that revert I was: 1. tired 2. had a headache 3. upset that I waited for the commit to be commited, then only to realise I had to CVS update the .dev files, then re...

Let me inspect what was wrong with them (the b0rked version). I looked at the files when I updated (CVS said there were conflicts, so I had to), and to me it looked as if there was nothing significant, and since it jacked up the size of the files, and it worked a-ok as it was (at least for me), I re...

I'll take a look at the .dev files ASAP, probably tonight. I don't forget about them, I just get higher priorities during the week, so this may not always be a problem of them being out of date.

It doesn't even matter, if its special, it is, if its not, it isn't. I could care less, let alone start an argument about it (which looks like this could have turned into). I know its a real image, and I know the time I put into it, if you don't believe it, I can't change that, but who would know so...

I have had the same problem. I fixed it by making the fonts smaller and all in "consoleFont". In each of the "xxxMenu.cxx" files, I changed the variables of "fontheight" or something like that to be divided by 72.

Nope, the last time I checked they are being stripped, but in case I ever goof (which should, and usually is, never :) ) there is a file called "strip" in the /bin/ dir of Dev-C++. Use the command line, and enter "--help" or "-h" (I can't remember which works), it is pr...

To change the view in Roaming, use the alt, cntrl, or shift keys plus a direction key. I do not recall which does what, but they all control the x, y, z positions of your view.
