There is High Speed. There is Quick Turn. There is Linear (physics). There is Spin (physics). is it possible to combine the two (sorta) and make physics that will boost tank speed AND/OR make it turn faster (left or right, unlike spin, where can turn fast only one way). here's gameplay with physics ...

personally, i like more realistic maps (like overdose by temvss, or any of louman's maps for example). yes, they do take forever to load, but in the end one can really appreciate all the work a mapmaker put in the map. it's kinda sad that maps like that are not the most popular ones, yet the ones th...

heard that in 3.0 most things will be done by server, and client won't be responcible for "got shot" type messages. in 2.0 most things are done by client, and server don't do much question: if server is 2.0, and client is 3.0, how will that work? from what i understand, server will expect ...

make sure the inside is textured AND is right-side-in...
i had similar problem in wings (some mesh faces were wrong-side-out and not texturised)

something similar can be achieved by "linear" physics, but it will only move tanks around, not shots. Nearly, but not quite. Wind would affect your tank most while you are not touching the ground, (since while your tank is on the ground, it is affected by friction). Whereas physics driver...

also ya'll can edit the textures themselves. go to "c:\program files\bzflag2.0.10\data\..." (default location in WinXP) instead of 2.0.10, it might be 2.0.12 BZFlag version (depending on what you got) open a texture in MSPaint (simplest) or any other immage aditor, and start editing! :) a...
