Now enter the client who can see ST on a PUBLIC server (through modified radar/drawing OR observer mode), he has a distinct advantage not available to all on the server, which comes from neither experience nor skill at playing the game. This would be a cheat. This is one of the reasons someone call...

Re: How Long Does It Take To Get Good?

Not true. Maybe on servers you play on but in most places I play that isnt true. Maybe there are qualities the leaders have at the servers you play on may be considered "cheaters". I greatly frown upon all these cheating accusations. hehe - I've been playing this game too long. Maybe not ...

What Did It Take To Get Good?

when I was finally able to avoid the pretty flashy lights and explosions on the main screen, and started using radar 90% of the time, my score started improving.

Re: How Long Does It Take To Get Good?

For the sake of the noobs who feel it's a long way to the top... Just to clarify: Good = Can keep a positive score Excellent = Can keep in top three or within 10 kills of leader Awesome = Always the leader and when you get to the point of being able to include yourself in the Excellent to Awesome s...

Notice some of their callsigns, "real" people playing on autopilot - and are not the usual bot. Guess what I am getting at is that there are what appears to be individuals signing in, then starting up autopilot and maybe not even hanging around to watch the action. Acts like bots but sligh...

one positive vote Swine. I favor something like that...because at least one group of servers out there will never get a vote from me. Nevermind that, it's old so no more about that. Good idea Swine - even though I would have to vote positive on one of the recent Mad City mods - oversized, jumping an...

bummer

Thanks for providing all the different game style servers Jules. Other than the lag thing awhile back - I always had a good time! I, and others no doubt - will surely miss playing on the CRACKED server. Hope to see you around still from time to time - unlike many from "our era" (been in it...

It's never been an issue for me. Then again, I never look at that field, so don't really care.... It is only an "issue" for me because it prevents me from seeing what flag they (might) have. If you mean you never look at their email field, I can understand that. However if you mean you ne...

lol, yes I want it that way. Had to go in an mod something to get it that way.

70 to 90 percent of the time I am only using radar - the rest is spent looking up at the player list to see what flag someone has. Seems for the second or two I take my eyes off the radar, I get nailed!

toggle email address from showing on screen

I did a quick search before asking this...forgive me if I missed it, but how about an option to turn off everybody elses email address from showing up behind their callsign? When somebody signs on with an extremly long callsign, and they have this monster of a mac address/ip address/email combo thin...

Found a number of places that provide interesting battle - like the number of pyrimids which are drive-through but not shoot-through.

WinXP... even though You may not have anything running in the background - your O.S. may be running something. I dual boot, linux and WinXP, haven't seen anything like that with BZ - but ZoneAlarm has caught a few things "running" in the background. Just a suggestion - not too sure if this...
