You may have too many flags. Windows chokes on too many flags and will refuse connections.

Please post your config/map area that deals with flags.
nope, not even on a noflag map

Maybe. I want to keep it fairly simple so players can't hide. Maybe a pyramid on the centre, or make the SW more often.

Interesting map. My only problem is that spawn camping is really easy on here. You can sit on your base or one of the platforms and shoot onto the other bases. I did consider making a few bounding walls that you could drive through but not shoot through, but that would make the centre platform less...

Don't Drop

Here's my new map. It has been tested and should work out well.

Notes: This map requires airspawn and shockwaveDeath plugins.

Textures to be added soon.

You must port forward it to your computer if you have a router, see portforward.com for more details and how-tos.

*Fuse blows* It's quite confusing. Do you mean that players should be actively holding 80% of the zones, or just having gone over the map? Having gone over. What I originally did think about was something like the RISK board game, but you do not have to garrison in the area to own it, otherwise we ...

Suggestion for next release - Capture the Map mode

Capture the Map mode - a new gameplay mode. Each segment of the map must be captured, and a team must capture more than (say) 80% to win a round. To capture the map they just drive around. At the start of the round every segment is neutral. A team captures portions of the map by driving around (each...

New version. This time I still have the flags but they span the whole map, as do the spawn points. I've removed the cover and put in a few extra (some of which drive-through) walls. I have not changed the shots.

To remedy this problem, I would either decrease the bullet range, or give the wings flags a lot of jumps. That way, you have two or three "levels" of tunnel.
Good idea. :-)

I might build a huge network of tunnels. There used to be a maze server... anybody know what happened to it?

2. I noticed a bug where it is possible to spawn outside of the tunnels. Noting that there's no way to go back inside...or get over...you're pretty much stuck.
I've fixed that in the new version... the zones are too big by one unit.

Can't Spawn

I've set up a server. It shows up on the list. The world file has been checked and double-checked. I connect to it. Global Login Approved. I can't spawn. Nor can anyone else. Why?

Addendum: If I connect to it using localhost then I can spawn

Try this new version 1.4c then. 1) MGs and SWs are much shorter than they used to be. 2) WGs now only have a few jumps, but to keep WG fighting gravity is weaker for WGs. 3) TKing has been modified; there is no death penalty for TKing but if there is more than 75% TKing there will be trouble. 4) Tex...

Hiya, Noticed some problems: MG in the team area causes spawnkills (lots of them with lots of players and only one big spawn area which MG covers) WG needs 1000 jumps? When SW is on top of the back wall, you're basically dead Not very many fights happen outside the trenches... Very easy to get a hi...

New version:

This new version has a gap at the side of each parapet so that you do not have to go with the ramps and the steps. It also has a texture on the parapets.

Trench Warfare version 1.3

I have a map that is completely ready to use, but just needs someone who can host it. The map consists of two trenches on either side, each one with an attack slide to the other trench. There are no graphics on the map yet but this will be fixed in due course. Both trenches are stocked full with win...
