I had an old BZFlag 1.7 client that I modified to have a built-in Winamp control. It would show the current song artist/title, the song position, and the playback status (playing/paused/stopped) on the screen. It also had keys to control playback and the playlist from in the game. Of course, that w...

Or you could make it so the whole team benefits 2 points and the person who capped it earns 4. Also there is some skill to capturing a flag. Almost as much as actually shooting and killing people. You have to design your passage through the map so you don't get killed. Not to mention killing people ...

Better CTF

In the next release of BZFlag can the devs think about increasing the amount of points you get when you cap a flag? I meen right now there really isn't any reward to capping a flag. I think it should be made so it's like geno; where you get all the points of killing everyone on the other team(s). Or...

The logo would be nice with its original color. (Red) It's kinda to bland for my taste. But, nice.

I should have been clearer. Laser still ricos and all that, I just added pyramids so bases are safer from lasers bouncing everywhere inside. Oh ok. I was wondering though, is there any way you could make it so that laser doesn't rico. I mean half the time when you shoot laser it ricos and kills som...

In the oncoming version I have the ricos much better so laser doesn't rico and kill so much. You have to have a direct shot. I will also be adding more cloaking flags, maybe reducing the laser flags. But there are certainly not enough invisible tanks out there! 8) How do you make it so only laser d...

Thaks me1. The reason why I don't go directly from Blender to .bzw is because when I follow teppic's tutorial it sadly doesnt work. (Most likely a user error.) :)

.obj converter problem

Ok I made an object in blender then exported it as a .obj file. (Wavefront). Then I dragged the .obj file onto the converter and it spited out some file but it doesnt have a .bzw extension. It is still .obj. When I transfer all the text into my map file and try to start a local server comes up with,...

BZEdit for windows!

Can someone please create something similar to ibzedit for windows. Its so annoying using the old bzedit and having to enter the coordinates and the fact you cant import any objects or meshes. Thanks!

Dynamic IP Address: Choose this option to obtain an IP address automatically from your ISP. (For most Cable modem users)

Thats what it says for my IP address setting. Also isnt the default IP: 192.168.0.1? (I've always had that.)

Thanks Jeff. What's my private IP though? And what's the difference between public port and private port? Also when i'm in port forward it doesnt have BZFlag as one of the options. Is the default guide ok? And do I need a static in order to open a port? I have a dynamic.
