As far as the best flag, I'd say laser or shockwave, but my best flag there is MG or Tiny. For both of them, I can usually get off 7 or 8 kills before I get shot. For me, Tiny's better when there are more people around, since it's easier to escape if I get in too deep, and MG when there's less. Conv...

Flag Idea - EarthQuake

I thought of this after noticing the shockwave/aura that appears around the tank after landing. I didn't see anything in the wiki, so here goes. EarthQuake When landing after a jump, a shockwave will destroy tanks on the ground in the immediate vicinity of the landing tank. It's sort of similar to s...

You can't set it to only the Keyboard, or only the mouse. For mousers, it's better the way it is. Just for the keyboarders its a nuisance. There should be a way "hide" it in BZflag. Since you use the keyboard for the most part anyway. What do you mean you can't set it only to keyboard? It...

Grace F The mouse always returns to the center of the mouse box because it makes the tank stopped when you spawn, instead veering off to the direction your mouse is. Imagine that being changed. "Ummm.... I'm having this problem where the tank is going to the side even when I didn't ask it to, ...

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I will have to live with it... and find out how to not get shot head on , which is why I'd have liked to turn it off (can't focus on the center w/o focusing on the HUD+cursor)

Some interesting solutions here ;)
Does unplugging the mouse make it stop from centering after every spawn?

Disabling the cursor?

I use the keyboard to play and the cursor is sort of in the way when I play. Is there any way to turn it off or at least make it so that it doesn't auto-center itself in the HUD?

Thanks. I know that now. I didn't even think to check since I've never seen a forum that you could actually do that.

Sorry, I didn't know that. I changed the name of the other one to something random that no one would use.

I didn't know that the forum name was the ingame name too, so I registered a new name to what I wanted the ingame name to be. The Zero- account can be deleted/disabled/whatever. I'm sticking with .Zero

Ah! I figured out the segmentation fault error thing. I updated libcurl3 and now I'm free of that weird bug. The other one only happens at shutdown, so it's not critical though I'd like to be free of it anyway. I'm running Ubuntu Edgy. The new libcurl3 packages came from Feisty and all is working as...
