League Site's 'Team' Page

I have a small question here..how come on the league site's 'team' page, the total number of matches a team has played and the number of members a team has does not show up? I'm pretty sure I remember them being there way back when..there's even still ()'s where the total number of matches should be...

Re: Settings

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't think that to be good at dodging at GU, you have to have a high-tech super mouse. Personally, I have a simple 1000dpi Microsoft mouse. I have pointer speed set at it's fastest, but also have Enhanced Pointer Precision turned on. Thus, I have no where near the fastest mouse...

Re: Big annoyance

I agree with dexter here. If it is indeed a select group of people doing this, the admins should just talk to them and tell them to stop; if not there could be consequences. If they are doing it solely for the purpose of distorting the league system, that's quite enough reason for the admins to take...

Re: 1st official pillbox league pick-up contest!

I`ve seen the impressive activity of duc and pb league in 2006 when i began with bz flag and hoped these days might return. But that won`t happen. I too have seen the impressive activity of duc and pb leagues, and took a major part in both of them. When I strain my mind to think of WHY these days w...

Re: RikerCup January 2009

Speaking about having another tournament...how does July sound? Or maybe even May? Since this tournament went pretty smoothely, especially the whole pick-players-at-server set up. We seem to have developed a good system that could make future events very easy to organize. I'd also be happy to make ...

Re: 1st official pillbox league pick-up contest!

There are a few - maybe 10 - PB-Players regularly online, some others less often. Why not making it the following: No fix teams, no fix time Pre-registered players for that event if enough (2-10) are online, they can match. The team-members are choosen by chance (or an external generator). This cou...

Re: RikerCup January 2009

Well, you can say the teams were biased all you want, but each and every person who played had a genuine reason for being picked. Being in the same room as one of the captains for the American/Canadian team, I can safely say that our captains strived to pick the players who they figured would help t...

Can we have a date or so for - call it what you want: pre- / training- / info- / funmatch? So that the people interested in this can play together in a 10 vs 10. Not an "you must be there" more like an "you can be there and have fun". Just to get a feeling for that. This thread ...

It's America vs Europe...having Australian or New Zealand players would cause serious lag issues as QD pointed out. So the many Canadian players aren't allowed to participate now? Besides, we've all played the Australian and New Zealand before and now what to expect with their lag. It just doesn't ...

I was under the impression that last years Riker's Cup team location issue was settled by saying it was basically western hemisphere vs eastern hemisphere. I'd say that's a pretty fair way of grouping so everyone get's a shot at participating.

I agree with Grace, you have some really impressive textures there. Also, I thought the laser show screenshot was pretty neat!

As for the video, I always have a laugh when the credits are longer than the actual movie :-p

Grace F You can't set a different tank size for a single tank. That's the point of his mod. One tank would be harder to hit, as it would be the target of everyone else. There's no need to actually change the size of a tank. If the idea of his game mode is to make one tank harder to hit, a plugin co...

After playing at dub.bzflag.org:5150 for a while, you should notice many of those same players you saw at borrego. I for one know that October Rust plays at dub's pillbox server quite often. Perhaps you are just on at different times.

Just so you know, if you go in the middle of the map, you won't get hit by any bullets. I keep finding my tank edging closer and closer to the middle while I dodge, and am forced to steer it away ;) Also, I'm not very knowledgeable about running servers...how would I go about making myself an admin ...

Borrego hosted a pillbox map. Nowadays you can still play on that same map, only the server that's most often higher on the popular list is dub.bzflag.org:5150. Same map, different server.

In other words, the server doesn't test skill, the map does.

In all honesty, this is the first map in a while that I've first seen on the forums and immediately went to the server to try it out. With a lot of players, this map could definitely be a favorite of mine. Sadly, I haven't seen it up with the popular servers yet, so I haven't had a chance to play it...

This map is very fun to play at. It works with 2 players, all the way up to the max amount of players. Definitely a map I would come back to time and time again. I still haven't figured out how to get geno yet, though :P

Rename your config file and then see if it works after that. If so, it's probably something messed up with your configuration file. Nope, didn't work. I even deleted the config that was there (saved it somewhere else first so I could get it back) and tried the default config. No change, still froze...

Minimizing

Back again with a new problem. For some reason, BZ won't let me minimize anymore. Everything I press to try and minimize, it turns my screen a shade darker and freezes BZ. I've tried pressing f4, the Windows key, and ctrl+esc, all with the same result. Any ideas as to what I can do to minimize BZ ag...
