i believe if you join a server and choose rogue, you should fight alone and die alone. consider definitions of rogue: # An unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable person; a scoundrel or rascal. # One who is playfully mischievous; a scamp. # A wandering beggar; a vagrant. # A vicious and solitary ani...

Re: A couple of things...
1. Who the **** is Oma? 2. Is he really THAT good that people are nostalgic about him? 3.a The learning curve is short for only those with natural skill. 3.b The learning curve is shortening because as a community grows, new talent will come with some of the new people. 3.c The learning curve will ...

The Story of Your Callsign
OO flag reminded me of the line from the movie "buckaroo banzaI across the 8th dimension" where Dr. Lizardo says: "Laugh-a while you can, monkey-boy!", thus i used m0nkey_b0y. then i changed to sn0w_m0nkey mostly because of my addiction to snowboarding, but the double zeros and u...

current server options -silence
hi admins, is it possible to instead of banning a player, to silence them from server side and yet allow them to play? and is it possible to have a "silent" server? on ducati lately i see alot of "f@$k you" lately from blown up tankers, towards everyone. so instead of banning the...

bzflag rules vs. etiquette?
the game style settings on a server are what they are eh. so if one can shockwave camp like on hepcat(?) server it is fair play. if you are playing on that server and its say 10-5, and the 5 person team is getting spanked, it would be eitquette to not shocwave camp on ctf captures, correct? one shou...

apology
well i apologize for losing my temper last night on that CTF server with large teams (forgot the server name). i lost my cool, and let some things get to me. just didn't deal well with seemingly unbalanced teams, the flag runner with sketchy lag, a team killer.... so i apologize for whining and usin...

karma i guess
If you playing on the same server you know the people on it...and they know you. Its normal when they accuse someone to be a cheater........ But is unacceptable when they kick/ban you out just because there is a screaming whiny baby loser in the server. the funniest part about getting kicked off th...

game server style request
would anyone with proven fast connection for most players, be able to setup a high speed server, FFA, jumping with 2-3 shots and rico? i don't have anything to run this on, wondering if anyone is interested. reasons: highspeed-using the same speed of a highspeed flag, not faster. this improves refle...

It's been a subject of conversation on the secretplace/dragon.org admin mailing list lately. We just find it strange that you have a nearly 50-0 score, and an admin goes into observer, and seconds later you get killed. With a general kill ratio of 40:1 on a server that is almost pure carnage, and y...
