Not sure, nothing is output. Maybe I need to study the config a little better. This is what I did last: lod 0 "/path/to/object_file.obj" all other lines are commented out. I tried using static and bounding with the same obj file. Both, then one at a time, always using LOD line though. What...

You may have an 'off by one' bug. I noticed that the corner defs start at 1 (one) and they should start at 0 (zero), I think. All the .objs I ran did that. This would mean that you are missing the first corner definition. That might account for the texcoord issue. I could be wrong though... EDIT: al...

The script is not calculating the normals, it only gets them from the obj file. Whatever program you use to export the mesh is responsible for the normals. BZFlag will calculate the normals if they are not provided, which might be best in some cases. I have noticed that Wings3D can export some reall...

On my machine using mesh instead of face makes the enhanced radar look more like the normal setting. Very little change in color or opacity. It may be the right values to use but they don't look good, at least on my machine. And the face code works fine, it just gives different values, not sure what...

the enhanced radar is not working as it used too, especially on meshes. I can't see different levels easily. Sometimes not at all. For instance on loumans desktop, I can't see the keyboard when I am on the desktop unless I jump. The levels appear to be the same color unless the height difference is ...

I assume you have a broadband service and possibly are behind a router, with dynamic IP. You should call your provider's helpdesk or support. They can probably help you the best. There are a lot of variables, such as does your connection provide DNS addresses?, it should. and your router should prov...

For what it's worth, this is from one of trepan's posts (he is the author of drawinfo) drawInfo blocks are used to pipe information to the client that can be used with glDrawElements(), and that can be organized to increase the rendering efficiency (read: triangle strips). They also contain informat...

submitted images in wrong directory

Not sure where to post this or who to PM,
I submitted some images last week, never received any email that they were accepted. Then I received a PM from iPants saying that my images were in images.bzflag.org/iipants. Can someone please move them to images.bzflag.org/msheppard?

FIOS is FTTP, fiber to the premises. The broadband over FIOS is essentially the same as ADSL or cable. That 512MB doesn't sound right. Thats like an OC12. Most DSLAMS don't have that kind of a connection much less going to one residence. What is the downstream/upstream bandwidth you pay for? As has ...

VOIP priority is set higher than the other one. But i don't think that should be a problem as we are talking about a few ms. That is not normally an issue, but all these little things can add up. I play on wireless sometimes and I have not experienced endshot kick. I looked at the Fritz!box on the ...

...I would guess that there is no better and more secure platform to run bzflag on than on OS X Server. (cue OS flamewar.. here) I don't suppose it's because OS X is based on the FreeBSD Unix kernel. Nah, that wouldn't have anything to do with it.... http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/...

One thing to remember about broadband connections, business or residential, is that they get congested. That means the throughput will vary, sometimes greatly, throughout the day. This is really true for cable broadband, its a shared channel. BTW, there really isn't much difference between business ...

Does this seem to happen only when a narrow flag is used by you or anyone else? and do you have an Intel graphics card? If so this could be a problem with the NarrowWithDepth function. I can explain more if this fits.

Btw, 127.0.0.1 (the loopback address) is not always in the hosts file on Windows. Using the address directly instead of localhost will always work. G...
