This would be interesting, but think about it from the players' point of view. Would you really want to just sit around and wait for everyone else to die (which could take quite a long time if there are very experienced players there)? Probably not. There already is a shot-path implementation for shots. It would require for flags to be modeled using a flag-path implementation, implying that a flying flag actually is a special kind of shot. This could in an even further away future lead to an implementation where flags can be fired by the tank ...

Hmmm... this would be neat as a plugin, but I doubt it's possible. I don't think the flags as they are flying through the air count as objects, just more of a graphical representation of the flag getting from one place to another.

Very very good! Only one suggestion: most of the fighting is done outside, where there is just open space, so it would be nice to put more stuff out there, or find some way of making the actual cathedral the main stage for fighting.

Yes, I have heard that lots of people use TeamSpeak for Bzflag. I don't think there is one general channel for Bz, as it is used mostly for real teams in the leagues, and they have their own channels.
