Mesh Pyramid
If you have a meshpyr, can you add a different texture to the different sides like you can a meshbox? example: meshbox name meshy outside matref my_cool_wall top matref my_cool_roof end ...Will apply my_cool_wall to all sides except the top, and my_cool_roof to the top. Can you do something similar ...

a cd case. Each sharp corner equals a vertex. Now, with just those 8 vertices you would have just 8 little dots in space. Now, when you make a face, and apply vertices to it, you have a solid 2 dimensional figure. When you connect the 4 faces together, you have the entire solid 3 dimensional figure....

If you have a material, to be able to see it you need a mesh with the material applied, no?
Right?
Code: Select all
material
name example_material
texture http://www.yourimage/img.png
end
Code: Select all
meshbox
name meshyboxy
matref example_material
position 0 0 0
size 10 10 10
end
Right?

The BZWorkbench will provide an easier way for some of the map makers who use applications to make a map. Cheers goes to -jude for working on it. Hopefully, the MDG will provide tutorials for the rest of us who choose to write their maps by hand or use a 3d application such as blender or Wings3d. So...

Look at the Progressive Flag mode, I think it was made by slayer++ but I am not completly sure. It has similar characteristics, such as when you kill a x amount of people you get a flag, after x amount more you get a better flag, etc. This, however, only applies to one person, and not the team. I'm ...

Good Luck, MDG, I am looking forward to seeing some awesome maps from you guys. One thing I have seen many of the newer bzflag map makers ask about is meshes. If you guys could create a tutorial in the future about meshes, including how to add materials, passables, deaths, colors, and physical drive...

I must say, try to be a little more creative with your map titles. If I search the forums, I could probably find atleast 5 maps by that name, and more if I were to search the Mapatorium. Here are some common names: 1). 4 Towers 2). 4 corners 3). CTF War or CTF Battle 4). Intense CTF or Intense FFA T...
Ok, let me make this clearer, the podcast would be found on iTunes and online. It would be besides the point to do a bzflag podcast on how to make a signature, that would be a photoshop podcast. What i could do would be to make a video podcast showing bzart saturos, me1, palomides, romfis, Links, ot...
