Nope, not without reducing your lag. But playing from India, that may be a difficult thing to do. There is one server in East Asia I know of..
Though I haven't seen the owner around lately. Scroll down the list and find one you have a decent lag at, and sit for a little bit, players will join.

Saber, I believe you are talking about Teppic's All Hands on Deck. IIRC, he used a server mod to do that. I am willing to bet most anything that it is up somewhere. If not, I know some people who would have no problem hosting it.

opening .bzw attachments

Lately, whenever I have opened a .bzw file attached to a post, it opens in a new tab in Firefox, not in BZEdit, as it used to. I don't think I changed any settings in firefox, any ideas?

My post wasn't directed at you, Davy. When I loaded the thread, you hadn't posted yet. I got distracted while typing my post, so you posted before I did.

I believe its the reverse. Bzflag without the radar would flat out suck. And the radar is what makes bzflag, bzflag. What other games have a radar equivalent to bzflag? I never said anything about getting rid of radar...i was just talking about the 3D aspect of the game And neither did he..off the ...

IRC is not a buddy list. IRC often requires a third-party app, or at least a browser extension, which still has to be installed. And many people don't sit on IRC while online/playing/available. Blast's link is the best I've found so far, though the [TLZ] team has a site with many of the same feature...

BZE is stupidly simple. Anyone with any amount of mouse control can use it. There are functions in the toolbar that allow for dragging a box/pyr to the proper size and position. Even though they aren't very precise, with a bit of work, they can be used well.

The object of the game is to kill other tanks, while not getting killed. Flags increase or decrease the likelihood of killing other tanks and/or getting killed.

How is that screenshot not different from one of grass meeting wall? I could post that one, make you all guess it, and nobody would ever guess it. And please, when talking about or referencing Planet MoFo, get it right. 'MoFo' is not a person. and when you say 'look at all the mofo servers', that is...

Enhance the game experience and assist in killing other tanks, as well as prevention of other tanks killing you. The point of everything in the game.

"/part bye" Gives a "Player X has Left ("bye")"

"bye" can be replaced with whatever you wish..

using /quit does the same..auto-quits the client, and says Player X has quit, instead of left.

The last thing this place needs is more servers. Administrating/Policing a place is more nuisance than fun most of the time. Make friends, play at places often, don't hesitate to talk to people. Earn their trust. Worked for me. I hung around a place, people noticed, talked, and bam. I have more trus...

Met, did you not have to mod the server at all? A large section of my reasoning behind the 'impossible' argument was that shots did not follow the tank. this would not be possible as a shot does not move with the tank. Once it is fired, it continues in its path (GM the exception, but the firing tank...

IIRC, the way the game is now, this would not be possible as a shot does not move with the tank. Once it is fired, it continues in its path (GM the exception, but the firing tank's position has no impact on the GM once it has been fired) regardless of the location of the shooter. As I read it, it wo...

The variable _shotsKeepVerticalVelocity is not one with varying degrees. It is either on or off, 1 or 0. Yes or no. So when you say
the vertical velocity might be more
that is not true. Vertical velocity is either on or off, no 'half' vert. velocity.
