Hide objects from radar
Is there any way to prevent an object from appearing on the radar? I'm creating a map entirely contained in a room above the ground, and the floor of the room is hiding everything else on the radar.

Spin property plotting global domination
I've noticed something kinda odd. Whe I try to use the "spin" property on an object, such as an arc, I have to set the "position" of the object to 0 0 0 and "shift" it to where I want it. If I try to spin the object in place, massive and interesting lossage occurs, poss...

The only aspect of camping that I really find annoying on a good server is when a player decides to do nothing but camp... I knock out some sucker with an sb in a building, and he immediately respawns, goes flag shopping, and goes back to camping in the same spot. That's not playing... that's just p...

Well, you wouldn't want to see me play BZflag, not one bit. For one, I have a hard time playing quietly; you can hear the WEEEELAAAA from across the dome when I have a GM. Further, I tend to dodge bullets by tipping my head backwards, poking holes in my leather body holster with my horns. My girlfri...

Geez, people. Game balancing is more the job of the server owner than the game designer. Think about it. For one, Wings can be toned down plenty already using server variables, not to mention tweaking GM as a handy counterweapon. Besides, a winged tank with three or so jumps would actually be a sitt...

How does this "league" thingy worky?
How does the league system work, exactly? I'm kinda new to the concept, although I've been playing BZ for quite a while.
I'm interested in FFA-type play. Maybe somebody would like to claim me.

BZFlag configuration under XP
I'm looking for the configuration datafile for BZFlag under Windows XP, and I can't find it anywhere. I've looked in the program directory, in my user folders, and in my registry. What have I missed?

The game is not designed to give you the high score. It's designed so everybody, including newbies, can have fun and get some kills. If I get zapped with the same laser seven times in a row, I promise you I'll be finding another server... and I'm no newbie. The point of opening a server is to attrac...

Well, some people have different preferences. Generally, the flag limits are tweaked to the map design. If it's designed as a camper's playground (pieinthesky), there will often be limits on GM and L. On maps where everyone is out in the open (Secretplace), all players are vulnerable and shot limits...
