True. But in the far future, around 3.0.0, not everyone's gonna be lagging THAT far behind. (At least, I don't think so...)

Oh. "There isn't one single version that is released and supports fog." I just noticed it. Sorry :P
What's wrong with that?

Um... then why does 2.0.5b5 have it? Edit: Okay, now I understand this. Fog is currently only in the betas. The ability to make it so that fog is required AND the ability to see fog will both appear in 2.0.6. Am I correct? Yet another edit: I think that the switch should tell any player that joins w...

Hm. Does that mean that the -reqgfx switch will only allow 2.0.6+, which isn't released yet (AFAIK), which means nobody can play?

_fogRequired

A recent addition to my InstaKill server is fog. It makes sniping much harder. However, some people may choose to disable the fog, which defeats the whole purpose of it. AFAIK, there is nothing that enables fog unless the user does it. _fogRequired 1 would enable fog automatically. It might slow dow...

I believe that any player who joins AFTER you enable Roger will not see the [auto] annotation.

Been tested. :D

Flag Reset plugin idea.

On my InstaKill server, sometimes there's just 2 teams of usually 1 or 2 each battling it out. They'd use a couple of the flags and 10 minutes later, there aren't any flags on that half of the map! I'ld like a plugin that does a "/flag reset all" every time the server goes empty (when ther...

See this: http://my.bzflag.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6719 (In other words, Recalibrated QPC Frequency is normal.) I'm not so sure, but I think the player that keeps coming back to join is probably the list server seeing if your server is still alive. How do you know people can't come? Is it just based ...

Well I own at IK... I mean, it's my server... I once got a 115-30 (That's 85 points if you needed to reach for a calculator). Until Soraya came. And then the obvious trap came... :( (Note for you two: If you haven't noticed yet, I changed IK to IKCTF. If possible I'll see if I can persuade HT to run...

OK, so here is a list of most wanted features and etc. 1. GM! Sorry, can't. GM explodes right in front of your tank. 2. See bullets. Well here's a question for you, unless you use a high speed camera or etc., can you see a bullet fired from a gun in real life? 3. Turn off the WW! The world weapon is...

InstaKill

This topic is for the people who are too lazy to use /report but visit BZBB. This is also for being lazy myself since I don't want to put this into help files. This is ALSO for polls that should last longer than 45 seconds. ;) For those of you who don't know everything about the server, here it is: ...

Yeh, I had my IK server with around 50 flags and 8 people. Get past 8 and you get that nasty write error.
But now HT is hosting my server! (Check my siggy) :P

I have a Windows XP Professional, SP1. (The SP2 didn't install correctly.)
I had about 50 or 60 flags on my InstaKill server with a total of 8 players. They all were able to spawn, but past 8, anyone who joined would get a write error.
But they still spawned. :)

Well, lucky me, I coincidentally already have SuSE on my 5 disks.
Again, I will turn this PC into Linux when I get my new computer.
During this time I will make sure I have back-ups and do more research.
Thanks o.O

Depends on what? I have no clue. 1. If I install Linux, do I boot from a CD or does it totally replace Windows and just boots directly to Linux without the CD? 2. If I install Linux, will all my data in Windows disappear, like games, text files, random pieces of junk...? 3. If I install Linux, will ...

Linux Help

I'm not so sure if this fits here, but it seemed like the best place to put it. I just downloaded Linux, but before installing, I want to ask a few questions. 1. If I install Linux, do I boot from a CD or does it replace Windows? 2. If I install Linux, will all my data in Windows disappear? 3. If I....

My server isn't in the server list. I suppose it has something to do with the connection being refused?
Does anybody know where I can find a port manager?
