The map you made (I'm sure you know this) is a port of the 2600's Pacman maze.

Make the console version of the maze if you want any true pacman fans to host it

Try ./configure --enable-shared --enable plugins

Dunno about Mac but nothing goes to /usr/local/lib unless you run makeinstall on most *nixes (unless you built them).

-autoteam based on forum groups

Hey All, So it has occurred to me that -autoteam could be made smarter. I think it would be neat if it could autojoin people to teams based on global forum groups. This enhancement would lead to several advantages: 1) For league games people are already joined to the correct team. 2) To encourage re...

This is a bash script written for *nix systems. I would be happy to rewrite it as a MS-DOS bat/cmd script, but the problem is, I can't think of a way to get the playercount w/out an external program. I'll think about it a bit. Right now, the only thing I can think of is to require the use of wget ....

In 2.0.3 PDCurses support, the only curses lib for windows (which would allow an identical bzadmin gui to *nixes) was broken. Since I was the only one who really compiled with it, it was never fixed. I don't know if it has been in CVS recently, I only compile on my Debian box now. You can check if i...

Bans are a thing between servers and players. They are not a network wide "comunity" thing. Do not make the "comunity" out to be something it is not. Being part of the "comunity" realy dosn't mean you have a right to anything. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but that's the r...

I'm no expert, but algorithms like blowfish, twofish, serpent, 3DES, AES, etc. are way too slow. Even if there is no speed hit, processor usage will soar to decrypt/encrypt the information. But it only has to be done whenever a client connects. If you're worried about the impact on the performance ...

Wait lemme get this straight, so I have to require people to register to talk in order to be part of ths group? I say just make a private admin and owner forum. I know I said this somewhere else, but only someone named 'WinXP' would want BZFlag to be closed source.

Not trying to start anything, just seems ironic.

There is a weird bug with connection limits. Despite MS not having any limit on HTTP-type connections, when you have more than ten flags, it mistakes bzflag connections for the type of p2p connections it does limit (only lan connections are limited by xp, it shouldn't affect internet ones). Because ...

Its both. 1badplayer.no-ip.org, tropican.no-ip.org, and grassrootsportals.no-ip.org all are aliases to my ip.

And yes the grassroots one was from when I ran Babel's when Hepcat closed but SilverCat was yet to open.

One could be in center, or it could be a pyramid pattern. Either way the bases would be equidistant from one another and the map a mirror image of itself.
