Re: Big annoyance
....... and this problem continues.... One Team was founded and deleted more than 3 times in the last 3 days.... (I still will not name the players). They match a team, loose it and do the re with the now founded new team with the same players... That really annoys me and my teammates. We try to pla...

Re: Big annoyance
And to clarify my post, too: :D >> But implementing some league code to avoid it seems to me ineffective >> It wasnt my intention to do this by code. That would only mean a lot of work and could easily be bypassed. But why not restrict this by the rules? The rules are there to establish a working le...

Re: Big annoyance
@Zac: It is affecting my team. Otherwise I wouldnt be annoyed that much. 2 examples: You look up strayer to find a match, and while official matching, you get a "btw, forget to say, we arent anymore in the same team". I know, strayer is always nearly a day behind, but its no fun to check e...

Big annoyance
I just want to ask a short question: Am I the only one who gets really annoyed by new team foundings and deletings on a daily basis? Especially by the same 2 or 3 people? I think its normal and happens that someone founds a new team or abandons his membership in his actual team. But it really bother...

Re: Blurry hud
Do you play in your monitors native resolution? Some monitors do the resizing of an other than the native resolution really bad. Especially if you move.
So.. to clear things up, maybe you can give us:
Type of monitor and native resolution
The resolution you play with (and if its 16 or 32 bit)

Thanks Jefenry.
But this one I found too.
I hoped there is somewhere a good solution for the radar size limit thing.
But it seems, it isnt

Re: Dockable windows
@me1: I did search for this in the forum, and on other ressources, and I played with the different startcommand-settings (- view) too. Btw, L4m3r didnt tell if it was in THIS board. Thanks for this "helpfull" answer, but that shows only bad style. Maybe if you search something in the futur...

Re: 1st official pillbox league pick-up contest!
The intention in my above posting was to encourage new players to take part in this, and to have more matches for the one doutzen Pillboxplayers, there really often online. @slime: #1 is more or less Pillbox League and not easy for new ones to join existing teams. And you have no balanced teams this...

Re: 1st official pillbox league pick-up contest!
It was really a strange situation: I had a lot of free time the last 4 weeks and played way too much bzflag. I was nearly every day online for hours, my teammates too, but i never found 2 members of our 1st round opponent ready. :rip: So I thought a little about it and here ar my 2 cents: :book: :bo...

As I mentioned above. Here in europe, as a bzflag player, everybody bows down, and welcomes you like a king. So dont wait to long, buy a flight ticket and go. You will not regret it And did I mentioned the monthly 10.000 $ the government pays this unique heroes, called bzflag-players? We wait for yo...

Maybe it dont fits perfectly as an answer to your question, but if others use the search function: There are some players having bittorent clients in the background, streaming music or downloading something. Thats always the first thing I have to eleminate as a reason. Sounds banal, but it happens. ...

I really dont like geno on ctf maps, especially if there are a lot of players (=that means at least one or two easyly geno-able player). On Missle Wars I would prefer - if there has one to be - a time-limited (maybe you loose it after 60 sec), and only one shot geno. That would be acceptable and not...

I know that the topic is the Riker Cup and my posting was in relation to this. Not everyone interested in taking part has played the last time. So I thought this would be a good chance for the new participants to get a little practise playing in such a crowd and see how its like and It would maybe h...

That was my point too. Its hard to get a bunch of players at one date together AND only preselecting from these wouldnt be the best solution. But why not something prematch like to get a little practise? Not to select the players, but so the players could warm up a little? And that would be fun for ...

@quantum dot: First of all, thanks for your answer. You are right, I am new to GU League and play it only for 3 weeks - but on a daily basis now. GU is addictive ;-) In my posting I adressed two things: If you read my posting carefully, you see that Im not saying the two leaders are picking their fr...
