Flying time: increased!
Number of "L" flags on the ground: reduced!
Clear walls around the arena: now shoot-through! (to keep Laser from going aroung in a big ol' "web" and killing alot of people")

Blue spawn zone: fixed!
"Silly" center: fixed!
"Tanks" shooting you to other "tanks" (bases): fixed!
Textures: fixed!
Driving on green/blue tanks: works fine in privarte server, however needs to be tested publically.

all 3 bases were tested.
it did happend before that a map was perfect in private server, and glitchy in public. this might be the case here.
i used "spin" to rotate the tanks, just like it was done in the original 2 Tanks, so i don't see why it's doing that here.

As some of you may know, i took over the "4 tanks" project. Later, it was decided to make it in "3 tanks". so here is the map (finished/ tested on private server).

i just got another idea. something like a sign that says "There is a cloaked tank between you and this sign." not sure how good it will look like, but i'd try to make such a sign in few days.

Edit: it don't look as good as i expected, so here is a different idea :)

interestin'! it IS doable, but how would you move around in this "cave" unless you add more passes? and if you want me to do that after i'm done with 3tanks, i'll try! Edit: 3tanks is not forgotten! i'm planning on finishing it this weekend. Also i'm considering adding a "turret"...

-2... interesting, even though i don't quite get the idea... please explain! ok, so 3 tanks it is (will be, actually)! oh and i'm having in issue... when i create an object (a variation of a torus) in Wings 3D it looks ok in Wings, but in BZFlag itself i can't get in the hole of the torus. it feels ...

due to Mud's inability to finish it, here is my prefab.
NOTE: it's not cleaned up, and it appears that some parts are missing. If the map will be as popular as it seems it will be, i will fix the bugs on it. untill then, enjoy, comment, have fun! :)

camping (other then spawn camping) IS a defence strategy, just like adameros said above. so personally, i do not see anything bad about it. however, it is different (not in a good way) when a player sits somewhere on base with SW and hits the fire button every time someone spawns there. that is just...

this forum section is called "prefabs" and that means objects, or parts of the map. if i'm not mistaking, you are free to use these prefabs for your maps, but it's always a good idea to PM the creator and ask again.

the easies way to change ground texture (easiest that i know of) would be to make a thin box (.1 units tall) on the ground. texturize the box, and it will appear as ground. if you want water, look on wiki about that (i'm talking about actuall water, not water colored box).

Wonder Boy, give it a try with BZEdit (or iBZEdit, depending on your OS) and notepad (or any your favorite text editor). Use wiki for help. also you can pm me, i'll be glad to help with the map code.

also some other programs like SketchUp can be used, although you will have to either get PRO or a .obj exporter (and use modeltool to convert that to .bzw)

even though i did get a pair of special red/blue glasses, i did not get that 3D effect (possibly because my "red" was slightly different from BZFag's "red")

for a while i wanted to see how BZFlag would look like on a BIG screen, not my usual 37" LCD... i finally got a chance to try it, and here is the result
