Re: Lagstats in replays

I agree with you smooth that replays can be useful to review information and that most of the time the recording is "pretty damn close" to what actually happened. However, you're conveying that cheats are the only explanation for straight shoot throughs... sadly its not that easy. We all t...

Re: Score system/time limit

You can set the timelimit on some of our servers, for example on bzf:58. Remembering the score should be easy enough.

[Remember everybody that guleague permits 30 minute matches only, the timelimit-feature is not there to play shorter matches.]

Re: Looking for the best mouse for BZflag

I'm also on a Macbook Pro, also on Leopard and I'm currently using this mouse. The Razer-Driver is pretty good if you like the OSX-mouse-acceleration, because you cant turn it off entirely. It lets you set macros, change sensitivity, speed and various other settings. However, if you are like me and ...

Re: Looking for the best mouse for BZflag

I've played with Razer mice for a long time and I love them. The buttons are usually very large, the scrollwheel is unmatched and they're very responsive (+ they look predatory :D). Theres a little downside though: Razer makes quite large and heavy mice, so if you're used to small notebook mice, it ...

The ducati-guys found an solution, I believe. I remember that they disabled those numbers, too long time ago, but are able to display them now. Are we using an older webleague?

Re: Learn to dance your tank. No comments ...

While we are on guleague history... guleague just turned four years old and I've written down some memories about that time. It focusses mainly on phago, but might still be interesting to read for you all. :)

Re: RikerCup January 2009

There were very much observers (40 people watching at quol's server, even more at bzf) and almost all behaved well. Great job observers. :) I wish the team captains do a better job next time as the both teams were pretty biased. To me it also looked like being in one room was sufficient to play in ...

Re: iPhone GU league Webpage design 1.

DUcky, Buy a iPhone & log in to gu.bzleague.com you will see that you need to zoom in and do a lot of things, If you create a webpage that works for the iPhone, imagine the difference. There. I could ask @menotume for some help during the making of the webpage. The webpage will however need just...

I've just uploaded the two replays from the last RikerCup (third match was never played). You can find them here: www.phago.de/tmp/rikercup-bzf.rec www.phago.de/tmp/rikercup-quol.rec Download and put them into a folder. Then find your bzfs-executable und run it with the following parameters: bzfs -r...

Heya, of course we remember you, IceDrake. :o GU has no strong public server anymore, its more cluttered now... looking out for bzf.guleague.org at any port may help. Most of the players shifted their priority over to our league, which is still very active - after almost three years running. You'll ...

I downloaded and opened the program. It starts fine, shows an 'empty map'. However, when trying to create objects like boxes etc I get the three positioning arrows but no visible object. It crashes when trying to open most maps or does nothing at all (even for simple 1.10.x-maps like hix). So basica...

It makes no sense to play on such a small device... even on a eeepc with 7" display the radar is so small that you can barely see whats going on. Still it would be awesome to have bzadmin for iphone/ipod touch which should be fairly easy to code up.
