CBG, more info is helpful. Go to observer mode, press f8 until you see 'roaming' at the top of your screen. You move by arrow keys. Shift+keys, Cmd+keys and and Alt+keys also move you or rotate your image area. From there you can press f5 to take a screenie. Personal suggestion: make radar and mouse...

Need help with a script
Hi guys, I am looking for some code for finding where certain players are. (Not all players only a few of them). A simple example is : MyBZBuddies from Bzstats.strayer.de that would be perfect, a list of 20 or so names and if they are on, it says underneath them what server and if they are not it ju...

To further Winny's post, look into the direction of scaling. scale 1 1 1 Would make objects* normal size. scale 1 2 1 Would make objects* twice the normal size in the Y axis, while the other axes stay the same *Correct me if I'm wrong and the scaling changes more than just object size. I believe the...

I must say that that map looks incredibly playable. I must agree, ricochet would be pretty bad. Now, I tried hosting a private server to mess with the zones. After about 1/2 hour of fiddling I still could not get the flags to spawn correctly (or at all even in most cases...) If a flag were to be add...

There are many ways to build a map, none of them require any specific age. The BZFlag wiki has lots of information that you can use (for free even! and you can be 2 years old!). Try their site at: http://my.bzflag.org/w There is also the bzflag manual pages located at: http://my.bzflag.org/bzfman.cg...

Hmm, lets translate that post Grace: If you happen to be camping on one of the corner boxes, and shoot parallel to the fencing with laser, your shot will hit the top of the barbed wire fence, ricochet up to the pyramid, ricochet back down (because it is a perfectly flat face), hit the top of the bar...

Just a suggestion: People usually do not like maps with the the server name displayed like that. Other than on Mofo, who are proud of who they are, and Pieinthesky, I would not recommend that. Keep adding stuff, you have a long way to go, but work on strategy. How should the map be played? What woul...

OrderlyChaos
New map, simple, yet fun with lots of obstacles. Reminds me a little of the pillbox play.

I remember that my x-treme ctf map was sized very small. The reason it was so playable was because of its ricochets and a small bit of laser flags. Small maps do not need to be necissarily cramped and crowded. You just need to understand what to put in the map to Make it playable. Good Job Zelgadis!

I have the SDL.Framework as binary directly from its own download page (version 1.2). Is there any problem with using that? gnu-sense I used the precompiled framework when I compiled on my MacBook, and it worked without problems. That sounds like it should work for all, Constitution. I will test it...
