after looking at it again, I see that there is a palce where it may not load up the right base color. Ive made a 1.5.9f10 version that fixes it so it should allways do it right. The link is above.

Let me know how it goes.

I am not seeing that. when you change the color or any item in the UI you need to hit apply. when you say move are you draging the item? or entering in values?

I pulled the pyrmaid fix from CVS. The fix will go back in when the protocoll is broken in the next version. There have been discusions on the best way to implemnt a "drive thru" feature, but nothing has been decided. I see the half tank problem some of the time too, I have not had chance ...

I talked to Tim. We are going to pull the pyrmaid thing till after the proto. break. Cobra, you don't need Tim's permision to branch on your own. That's what GPL is about. If the code is where you want it when you want to branch, you can have at it when ever you want. That's what I did. On a side no...

the bug can't be "fixed" with out a protocoll change. Since it's a client only change, old verisons would still go thur pyramids, making them "cheat". The fix has to be removed till after the proto break. And then a flag can be added to each map item to make it drive thruable. Th...

Does the PS2 linux have a hardware OpenGL implmenetation? Last I heard it just exposed some of the native PS2 APIs, but not all. Without GL there would be a lot to rewrite.. But hey if you have a PS2 and the $200 hard drive, and net kit, and the linux kit and wana give it ago, have fun :) Now The X-...

ohh and the sever admin can register a user called "default" and set it's permisions, and that will set the default premisions for each new player. so the admin only has to do that once. Then the admin can just hit the people he wants to give special access too. Or he can give another pers...

just like nickserv on IRC, it's up to the user to send a /identify with his password. Initaly I don't plan on changing the client, so the players will have to do it manualy. If it's liked, then the client can be changed to store a password, look for the servers "you need to ID" message and...

Callsign registration & aditional admin options

I am implementing a patch that will give servers some more controll over how they can give out admin rights, and allow users some more contoll over the uses of there callsigns. The plan is this: Split out the individual "/" server comands to be controlable on a per user basis. Not just a /...

The uninstaller will only uninstall things the installer installed. Any files you added will be left. And I know that you added files. It can also be screwed up if you move directories, or edit shortcuts. It can't read your mind.

This is way I say change protcoll slightly ( the magic string, send another confirmation packed ) and/or the version number. Then the code can't be easaly used on normal servers, you can release source, and all can be happy. And it prevents normal people from hiting the cheat server. You make your b...

what are the "issues". we need more then "didn't run ok".

Do you have low framerate issues in areas of the map? If so what parts of the map?

remember we can't read your mind.

it sounds like a 1.8 map being loaded into a 1.7x server, or there is extra crap in the map file.

What version of the server are you running?

Where did you get the map?

Post up the map somewhere where we can see it, so we can help figure out what is going on.

that's one of the Apply bugs I've seen, haven't had time to look at it yet. Been working, and now Baka has eaten itself. so I need to redo the server. I'll get to looking at it as soon as I can. I'd post the code if baka was up :(

its all based on link IDs not size of the text file. BZFS just sucks up the text as a stream, dosn't even save it in text form.

If you have a specific link set that dosn't work, let me know what ones. I can pop into the debuger and see what is hapening. no need to speculate.

If I recall the FireGL 1000 Pro uses a Permedia 2 chipset from 3dlabs. That should run with some hardware features. The thing I would look at would be your video drivers. Do the drivers you have installed for X support hardware acelleration? If not, then you are just running software rendering, and ...
