Hey gu players, We need official matches to be played on bzbg:5162 to finalize testing of AutoReport Plugin (ARP) with the gu site. Please, please match there as much as you can, so that we have sufficient opportunities to flesh out any bugs. It only lacks testing at this point. Again it's bzbattleg...

I like this idea.....The point differential makes logical sense! I always thought the first DucCouncil should have instituted point differentials for the different match times when they made the 15, 20, 30 min match change. In their defense, I think there was no one with the time /inclination to cod...

I admit to not knowing how much work it would be to rewrite it or knowing anything all about code.....Can it be assumed that some of the code from the 2.0 version would be useful and thereby jumpstart the rewrite?

I don't believe flag pass ducati is meant to replace classic style ducati.
I see it as an option. Match classic or flag pass. 15, 20 or 30 min.

edit: It could also be a public map option, at first for introduction.

Would flag pass have to go to mid everytime? Could we choose to pass to side wall, half way.

I remember TRB had a test ducati style map where you could pass your flag back toward side of your own base. We tested 6-7 yrs ago and it was fun then. Let me see if i can hunt it down.

raydon and honc.....bzbattleground's dodge trainer is nice map for honing dodging skills.
Also the 1v1 maps are great to practice on as well....ducati style ones have 2 shots, rico and no jumping as well as the fancy ones. hix has 3 shots, rico and jumping.

I like this. This is how I came to gu....a public server with super flags. Playing here I met the captain of Assassin Clan who then invited this super noob to his team. ATG took me under his wing and taught (or tried to) me some of the tricks of gu.....he was like a regular coach...."do it agai...

There have been several variations on a theme here regarding Team red/ Team green that to create a poll would assume that we all agree on particulars. It's obvious that we don't agree on all the ideas presented. Somehow have to narrow it down and for that we need specific discussion without the jabs...

Is the criteria really 20 players supporting this?, would hope the 20 players needed have to be experienced seasoned players and not new players who haven't been through so many variants already.

Would be very helpful, if the servers were identified on which these things are happening. I'm not sure the various servers are using the same language filter.......specifying which servers you are experiencing this on. Precise examples of where the filter backfires would be helpful as well..... -ap...
