Looks good ski! Just one thing I noticed with the league you guys have an E rating for teams that have an average less than 1.0 but that isn't possible if you get one point for every game you play no matter what.

actually it was changed awhile back.. please see the new and updated I.S.T. rules at the first post of this topic .

the lowest rating is "D" .. and it is possible to get below a 1.0 average now that penalties are in effect for team inactivity ...

BTW , the I.S.Tournament has an alternative site located at :

http://ist.brlcad.org

special thnx to |tim| and learner :)

May I give some idea?????
No.... I dont care....
-First ; I think the country they need to be listed on alphabetical order.
-Second devide the "most popular teams" in ..just for example :)
USA 1
USA 2
or fix a max "tanks" for country
And ..if you can insert the other country flags (Germany(..there is a lot good players there dont be shy)

Netherlands and etc...probably if they see her/his country flag they will join.
Probably

I can make it alphabetically. Probably a better idea. I threw them in random to avoid the "im better because im first" syndrom..heh but Thats a better idea i guess. Ill make the change now. :)

I can see your point about a team being oversized however it shouldnt make a difference since only 2,3,or 4 can play at a time no matter what. However, the prob would come up if more than that would want to play at one time. Again, having a lot on a team makes them more available. If splitting a team seems to be what people want, we need to decide how the scoring would be done. If there are 2 US teams, should the scores be combined? Obviously, we couldnt have a US vs US.

As far as other flags being raised, I have no problem with that at all. I mean, I could post them and under the player headings I could post (open) or something like that. It would be nice to get some more teams involved.

Ill start to make some changes now. Thanks for the suggestions SGI :)

The rules have stated that there is a team size limit , up to 12 players per team .
and Continental teams have been allowed into the tournament .

Team USA has 12 players already . but really less than half of the members have played in a match so far...

we could split Team USA into two seperate teams as SGI suggested , Team USA.1 and Team USA.2 , but i will leave that decision up to our team captain Big Barrel ;)
ugh i hate civil wars , but oh well . we may do this if only more countries would get involved .
if he and ski agree then i have no problems with it . perhaps lower the team limit size as well (i'll have to start another poll ;)

Hi IST world!

I suggest to add a small ladder in your site ski. Just a lil one showing the points of each team (updated each day maybe). This would be great! ;)

Thx

Carny , the first match between Canada and the USA has been nullified , since u and TC did not realize then that we wanted an official match , and because mee and Big Barrel both agree in retrospect that it was more of an exhibition game(pre-season) for the I.S.T.
so it will not be counted .

It's high time to encourage other coutries to play in I.S.T. I wonder why German or Sweden team has not been registered yet ... It's because communication problems maybe (?) I think this forum isn't visited by everyone from ctf league. Maybe someone should put some post on ctf league site considering I.S.T? I know Chika put there the announcement but there is no info about I.S.T official site's address and about matches played so far.

BTW
Poland want a match. Just pick the time.
VENGEANCE on USA!!!

cheers,

you need to make a German Team.... common Germans get in gear!!!

PS: talk to strayer i think he wants in on a german team,,,so does chestal but he does not want to run it. Once you do that then you can start making suggestions... lol
