Good work, Ski. Is there going to be a rank listing, like ctf league site? It's difficult to tell 1st place from last place.

just a simple idea .. for this league i think it would be really fun ...

hmm, now that would be a battle...heh. The only downfall I could see is that there are only a few teams that have that many members so far...

YEs that would b a neet idea . 5v5!! :D

i've tho about this an im hoping to try this in the I.S.T... jus waiting for the larger 1.9 ducati map to be developed .

there were some concerns that a 4v4 or 5v5 match would be too crowded , but a larger map will yield more room to play .
however , i am worried that since shot distance will probably be the same , more "suicide" spawners will take place so desperate players will try to spawn somewhere closer to where they want to be , since it wil take longer to go from one end to the other end on a more expanded field ...

sooo either the new 1.9 ducati map should only be slightly larger in dimension to the current ducati map ...

orrrr it could be very large! and have well placed teleportals on the field ...

yes/no/maybee?

having teleportals on a random map such as ducati may pose some problems ...
would the portals be fixed ? or random too?

it could work , the closest working example i can think of is the popular Intermip map server , which is a random CTF map with teleporters ...

u could simply keep generating a new map until a satisfactory one comes up ...

Ok, I added a rankings page however it is just a quick view of where everyone stands. I plan on working on this page more tonight to make it less plain...lol

No,usa isnt ranked #1. Germany is.

team USA is leading pointwise , which reflects our effort an activeness . team Germany has the best average , which reflects their team strength .

rankings refer to team points(#1 , #2 ,#3 , #4 seeds)
ratings refer to team average(grades A , B , C , D)

they are two different aspects used in the I.S.T. to give people some bearing on how to judge a teams' performance .

this does not mean anyone is winning anything , it jus means who will most likely end up in the BZ World Championship Finals in december...

points are merely tokens awarded to teams and meant to see which teams qualify and have earned a spot in the Finals . whether by being active and playing in alot of matches[effort] , or by winning all or most of the matches they do play in[strength] , or thru a combination of both .

But , points will no longer matter in the Final Competition , because the Ultimate winner is determined thru a process of elimination round of play .

there ...the only thing that matters is ... that the Strongest will survive ;) an may the Best Team win ;)

ok, I have got a calendar set up and now am working on setting up the page so that it will prompt the person to enter the team name and date and then add that info onto the calendar....at least thats the plan...heh

BTW, this is just an update...although the calendar is done i need to keep it offline until i get the prompting code done...
