Farewell Murielle

Post by jh^ »

I'm sad to tell, a good friend and fellow player Murielle has passed away recently due to long term disease after her hard and brave fight. I personally got to know Murielle, or muri
as we call her, about 2 years ago. She was a member of our ducati team Cerberus for a long time, and we all loved her. She loved to play ducati style:). Some of us also ran Xleague with her, it was fun to work with her there.
I remember her as great and smart friend who always had support and time for me, and she helped me to get pass many problems.
She had a lot of friends in bz, who will miss her a lot.
With love , Janne

Rest in peace, Muri. Your wit and charm will be missed. You were so smart with coding, gifted really for one so young...had your whole life to look forward to and now gone. So sad.
I'm glad we became friends again.

Rest well, Murielle. There are some things in life that seem so unfair and I will never understand. I will always remember our conversations. And thank you for translating things into French for me!

If people didn't know, Murielle was AliceD's little sister. Both were awesome people and will be greatly missed!

If possible please consider a donation to your local Cystic Fibrosis foundation (for Alice) and/or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation (for Murielle).

It's a sad day for the world!

It certainly is a sad loss to see somebody so young and so talented and with such potential, never get a chance to achieve it.
Murielle was very charismatic and a born leader.
The world is a darker place without the light from this rising star.
R.I.P Murielle. I'll miss you.

I was shocked to know about Murielle's life came to an end. She was a clever, energetic, and courageous girl, from what I could grasp from my interactions with her online. She was not always understood, liked to push for things to be done the way she liked. She was a well-known character in the bz community who made quickly an impact by playing, posting and coding some pluggins. She was also one of the leaders behind Xleague and other initiatives. She could not stay still, always starting new projects. We chatted many times, she was among the few people who would know some of the names I used. One of the very few who knew who "Kolmogorov" (an alternate name I often use) was. I have no doubt she had a tremendous intellectual potential.

Life is unfair and her fate was a terrible and sad one. My condolences to her family and close friends, some of whom are here among our community.

My friend Gorgomol tells me the bad new.
I saw some "RIP" few days ago but did'nt pay attention...
I remember some of our 1vs1 games, when she was kidding me how I was (am) old vs how she was young !! This was true, she was a talented girl !
It's sad, what else can be said. A child is dead. Our friend.

Sorry for my english, amitiés à tous et toutes mes condoléances à qui les lira.
