I am back & want a team
After a no playing time (oh, the exams...), I have return. I see that
my old team is broken, so I am searching for a new one.
This time I'd like a 1200+ team please... and not crowded.
Ah, and active. Uh, eh....I think my demand is a bit dificult...
So moles and zees, I am waiting for join you

Which team did you use to be in, MortimeR?
Having a rating of >1200 after a couple matches means that your team is above average. We have a lot of very strong teams now, so I would assume that most new teams would have a hard time to reach and keep up a >1200 rating during their first weeks in the league.
The only reason why there are not so many teams with ratings of even <1000 is that those usually do not live long. A normal distribution of the rating would be about symmetrical, so maybe from 900-1500. Like I said before: if we had more active teams in the lower ratings area it would be more fun for teams which aren't as good as the top teams yet, because they would have opponents of about the same skill level.
You are not a newbie for CTF of course, MortimeR, so I'm not saying it's best for you to join such a team. Actually I think it makes most sense when the players in a team are at about the same skill level. But whatever works for you is fine of course.

First came consumtion, at the start of the leage. There were few teams, and we only could play against very strong teams.Chestal wrote:Which team did you use to be in, MortimeR?
Then BZ:Evolved, with strom and termi. Again lot of match versus
the moles and zees..., again we lose... hehehe.
The problem is that the "not so good" teams are crowded or inactive, or both.

**my idea ..the MAx players allowed in a team is 7.... normaly the match is 2vs2 why you need 10~20 players.
inactice......another cleanup and :
rule # 2 a least 2 matches a month for each team.
rule # 1 ...fairplay
Yes is true....to crowded...move to a team with 2~3 playersThe problem is that the "not so good" teams are crowded or inactive, or both

I think I agree. When the league started, we had a limit of 5 players IIRC. But that was later increased on requests from some teams until we ended with the current limit of 20. We could lower that limit again, probably not down to 5, but maybe 10? Of course that leaves the question on what to do with teams which are already beyond that limit.Spaceman Spiff wrote: I must agree with SGI. These huge teams are pointless. A max player count of 6-10 players should be implimented.
