I really didnt think i had changed my name that often - and i've really only used 3 of them longer than a day.
Although, I plan on sticking with this name for at least another week

There's no rule as to how often you're allowed to change this stuff, so there's no sense in telling others to 'make up their mind'. People who do change their names often just seem a little unreliable to me.. often I have no idea who's saying hi or asking to join a funmatch. Personally I feel that every time someone changes their callsign (mainly speaking about those who do it very often) they lose a bit of credit and respect. I think it's cool that there are players out there who have been using the same name for longer than this league has even existed. You just can't develop a serious identity when you have had 20+ names over the last year.Bambino wrote:You need to make up your mind...

When I first tentatively tried BZFlag, I used the name "CannonFodder".
Later, when I returned after a long break, I was unable to remember passwords etc. , so I just started a new name, FiringSquad.
I apologise if this name change offended anybody.
(BTW: I think this CannonFodder might have been me.)

well there were obvious reasons not to use real names at that time in that place. But that's all changed.

I stopped to look up the previous nickname when i see one i don't know. Once i did, but that got annoying. And I really don't care about those who changed, it just doesn't make me curious.
Well, yes, i changed also my nickname, from piet to dreaming to dreamer and to knox, but actually my last change is like 5 month ago and i don't want to change it. I guess i 'll never again.
