a lot of us have facebook accounts, actually I just realized theres even a page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/BZFlag/38808770766) with almost 200 fans... but I have no clue who all these people are.
So if you'd like to add a few (guleague-) tankers on facebook, this topic is for you: Post your profile.

Yes, a GU League facebook group would be best. I searched facebook and currently there is not one. If someone knows that a GU facebook group exists, someone post a link to it here. Otherwise someone should create a GU League group. It would be a good way to coordinate matches via the chat feature.
