Since a large majority of the players who are actually active nowdays dont get to play in Rikers. Perhaps GU league should host a tournament that includes all players. the Match-a-Thon for example was a great way to include everyone because you didnt have to be pro. you just had to match a lot.

go for it, zac and k would be fun to see you guys come up with something as creative as the rikers for the league.

for the record, I'm not creative. I was just thinking about Match-a-thon being a good idea - just trying to recall the particulars of that tourney.

How about a 24 hour match, with a minimum of 2 Vs 2.
You apply to play, giving a time-range that would suit you, and you are randomly given a team.
You co-ordinate with the team captains (number depends on how many required to cover all 24 hours) to let them know when you will be available to play.
Turn up on the day at your allotted time and you are guaranteed to be allowed to play. Turn up at some other time and you might still play, depending on opposition numbers available and subs required.

Would love to see a world cup tourney in GU (or bzsoccer if zaph is around )

6v6 tournement were players pick player of their choice name it and play for #1 spot maybe it could be called Zantu Cup

8 teams of two play tournament arrangement of 7 15-minute matches. Before the final match, the two champion teams must swap one of their players with a player from the other team.
