Reptiles Organization (RO) has made their first release in time for Riker Cup! It is a GU/pillbox ground dodge trainer for helping people learn to dodge the 3-shot spread. Check it out at 0-rikercup.zapto.org port 5154.

It features an unkillable shooter robot so you can practice solo anytime.

Some basic tips:

• The bot is unkillable no it is not cheating the point is for you to practice dodging but you could alternate at shooting it if you want to.
• The shooting pattern is quite predictable so the easiest strategy for learning gap fitting is to stand still while the bot is preparing to shoot.
• The bot does not factor in lag, so you can easily observe the impact of random (or better) motion on the bot's ability to aim. This is a legitimate counterplay to anticipation when either player is laggy.
• Other than first spawn, a good dodger should be able to survive indefinitely.

We are considering adding a dodging spot where there are basic corner ricos, or having multiple bots with various distances (to adjust difficulty). If there is any interest in these please let us know because it would take some work.

Got "Error connecting to server" while trying to connect.

Announcment: We would like to report that "This player is censored" (I am mad at you ) had ghosted the bot, crashing the server for four hours plus so far.
We will keep you updated in when we can fix this.

Update: The server is now restarted and the map is now public!

It was made to get Riker players to warm up their dodging skills at the time. Anyone can practice dodging here.
