Mark your calendars for the next HiX Doubles Challenge, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 1900 GMT. If you have not participated in this event before, it is a direct-elimination funmatch tournament open to all GU League players. You just have to pick a teammate and sign up.
Like last time, the event capacity is 32 teams, and registration is open until ten minutes before (so if you don't have a partner by them, you can grab one right before it starts). The only change from last year is the addition of one rule regarding the disqualification of teams for failing to show up or refusing to play or finish a match. Also, the results for previous events may now be viewed under the "Archive" link.
Since there was an issue last time involving ignorance of the rule regarding ties, all players are reminded that ties go to the team with the lower initial seeding. Please read the tournament information page under the "Information" link.
