Disable changing of username

Do you think that changing your username should be disabled? I hate it when people change their username and their in one of my groups and I don't know who they even are anymore. So then I have to remove them and it's just a head ache. So to prevent Propane Tank from blowing up, do you think that it could be disabled?

Because it is their name and we aren't going to do it for them... All it will mean is a proliferation of "new" accounts for no real good reason.
