Spelling Mistakes, Easily Fixed, not trying to be rude.

Post by Davy Jones »

Hey, I'm pretty new at this board, as you might know, But i think this is the right place for submitting spelling mistakes etc.

Anyways, I Will now quote the following mistakes and what they should be. ;)

*NOTE:I'm not saying "I'm Right Your wrong and you are pathetic", just merely stating my opinion.*

I know everybody makes mistakes, including me, and am only posting what is in the index.

The First one is:

" Help: Server Setup and Administration
Need help seting up a server, or have a question on how to run one? This is the place."
Setting has 2 't' not 1

The second is, " General Leagues Discussion
Disscussions about the various leauges

Discussions, Leagues

The third, not really a mistake, but just needs a bit of punctuation

" Map Editors
Discussion, updates, modifications, etc for the various map editors..."

should be "etc."

Anyways, As i said before, everyone makes mistakes, including me.

*just a little question on my mind*
How do you say "Ducati"?

Well, Umm, that really doesn't fix the problem, but thanx anyways ;) my bro introduced it to me [the game, not forum, Green Manalishi introduced me into this community] so its really his fault, but he is only 13, i think his user name was Da Best or something like that.

As for spelling, I quote (from the FAQ, http://my.bzflag.org/bb/viewtopic.php?p=10075):
The FAQ wrote:Q) You can't spell can you?
A) Nope, thanks for pointing it out.
Someone will probably correct them sometime, but if you reported every spelling error Jeff makes, you'd be at it for years.

Ducati is pronounced different ways depending who is pronouncing it; see for instance http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/showthread.php?p=296030

There are lots of discussions about the correct way to pronounce it. Google for "pronounce ducati," for instance.
