Not accessing Index

Every time I hit the link to go back to the forum index, I get a window asking me to download/open "index.php", a GIF Image. Opening in Firefox gets me what appears to be the page code, not readable to me. Typing in the address or accessing from my bookmark works, but using the link to go to the index doesnt work.
I'm befuddled, never had this before. Help?
Games don't make people violent, lag does.

Clear your cache. There was a server configuration issue last night.
