Did you install any updates recently?

Does running bzflag -window -geometry 640x480 work?

no, it didn't work.
but i found the problem. i installed the correct gaphic-driver but i forgot to change the entry in the xorg.conf
now it runs perfectly :lol-old:
echo "nvidia" >> /etc/modules
nvidia-xconfig
/etc/init.d/gdm stop
gdm
was also the solution
