BzFlag on a Dell?

Post by bzflaginator »

Hi, I was simply wondering if anyone knew how well bz would run with a 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory video card. This is on my dell laptop with 1G of ram. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You're spanking the stats on my laptop which sorta plays the game, so I imagine that you can. (16mb ATI M6 LY with open source drivers) Just make sure you have the right drivers installed.

I've got a mobility radeon X1300 and it runs just fine.

BZFlag is not very demanding at all, as far as games go. Your system is more than enough. ;)

I'd suggest more RAM if you're going to play other games, since the HyperMemory cards seem to eat up RAM after they've used up the dedicated VRAM. Other than that, for BZFlag, it should be more than adequate.
