Improving my packet loss

Post by First Class. »

Could anyone be as so kind as to help me improve my packet loss. I lose quite alot and sometimes its as bad as 12mms. Ive noticed that turning off the blending helps but there must be other ways to improve my packetloss other than upgrading my connection with virgin broadband.

Eh...?

12ms is not packet loss. That's jitter (Although I'm not sure if you're talking about client jitter or network jitter..).

Since turning off blending lowered the jitter, I'm guessing your computer isn't that great.

Try checking for the latest video card drivers and see if they help.

if you are using a wireless router, Try using a direct connection. Wireless can loose many packets and cause jitter.
