Problems running bzfs with config files

:?: Hey guys. I've run into a problem with 1.10 that I never had with the older versions (1.7, etc.). Using the configuration builder, I used to set up our server at work, but I can't seem to get it to run using the world and options that I set up now that we've gone to 1.10 (it did work with 1.7, and with 1.9 intermittently). Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks!

Been using various switches, but I'll try a trial and error approach and let you know if I find anything.

Ok, I've figured it out. It seems to be that when you specify a number for "Allowed Superflags" it for some reason prevents it from finding the server. After thinking about it I guess this is an unnecessary switch, since I can just tell it how many mandatory flags I want.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Another problem for configuration. How do you configure your email string under linux?

Same way as under Windows, add the line "set email myemail" to the config file.

Talking of server configuration: is there a way to set the world variables like gravity, tank speed, shockwave size etc when launching the server?

Yes, write the 'set' commands in a file just as you would write them in the client but without the '/', one command per line, and use the command line option -vars <VARSFILE>.
