Command-line argument "-config" does not work

Post by Rob5a »

I'm trying to start BZFlag like this:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files (x86)\BZFlag2.0.10\bzflag.exe" -config "C:\Users\Rob\Documents\My BZFlag Files\2.0\config2.cfg"
But I am getting an error messagebox with the text:
Unexpected: BZFlag. Server must go after all options.
I really don't know what this error message has to do with "-config".
Any idea why i am getting this error, or what this error means? :?

My OS is Windows Vista.

I don't think that option works properly in 2.0.x. I believe I had fixed that in development code (2.99.x). You could try it in a location without any spaces in the path to see if that works, but don't get your hopes up.
