In-Game Tank Names Show?

I saw a screenshot that showed each tank's name, attached to their tank with the flag abbreviation right next to it. Is this a cheat, neat trick, or what? It would be nice to see "examplename [L]" that is right on the tank so you could see who each tank was and what flag they had... But I dont know how or if it is even ok to do.

The labeled view is only available to observers. When actually playing the game that information is not displayed, to make it more challenging.
