Hi all,

since I upgraded my new iMac 27", 8 GB RAM, 256 SSD + 1 TB HD to OS X v10.7.1 Lion, BZFlag v2.4.0 crashes after some seconds or minutes.

No matter if I play ore are just looking. Done: New Installation, cleared cashes, ...

With Snow leopard (Mac OS X v10.6) the same BZFlag runs at the same iMac without any problem.

It is a bug in the video driver that is supplied with OSX Lion. Turn off smoothing in game...

Thanks a lot, without smoothing BZFlag works wonderful again at my new iMac with Lion.

I have a similar but maybe not exact problem. Brand new iMAC OSX Lion 10.7.2. (first time MAC so entirely likely this is a DFU/PEBCAK issue)

Download 2.4 for OSX. Install. Click to run. Blink (black and back). Nothing.

Tried 2.0.16 as a diagnostic - same results.

Something simple a MAC install needs to do to configure? ( I don't even get the main page to play with settings)

Delete your configuration files if they exist (both of them) and try 2.4.0 again.

The ~ refers to your home directory, so look without your user area, not the root of the drive.
