BZ crashes on OS x.2.8 at startup

BZ crashes on OS x.2.8 at startup

I played awhile ago with the 1f7o something version, and 1.10.6 doesn't seem to start on it, the screen resizes, then "BzFlag crashed unexpectedly" shows up, any ideas? thx

Hmm.. are you going to help him debug the issue as well? While your intentions are appreciated, don't waste his time if you can't help. If you can, then I expect a little more discussion in the channel from you regarding dev matters.. :P

As for the crash itself, it's a known issue that has been approached many times in 1.12. The next release should hopefully fix the problem, but we're still bug hunting. OpenGLTexFont is a particularly nasty piece of code that needs to just die .. riddled with crash-provoking code.

So.. soon, hopefully. Soon.

ya, I've heard a lot about those, I would look up all the crashlog infoo in my books and stuff, but I"mgettin away from all that computer stuff... :(
