Boot Up Isn't Working

Post by ryanfesta »

Hey, my brothers and I are havin a problem here... BZFlag isn't booting up on this computer anymore. We would click the shortcut or the .exe file, and you could hear the computer "spinning its wheels", but it suddenly stopped and nothing happened.

Then, we tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the website. Still, it does the same thing.

Help?

Try deleting your .conf file. I should be located at "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\BZFlag\2.4\config.cfg". BZFlag will create a new one once you delete it and start the game again.

I found the file, but when I tried deleting it, it said "The action can't be completed because the file is open in The BZFlag Client".

Nevemind!! Ah, I opened Task Manager and saw BZFlag was open in the "Processes" tab. I ended it, deleted the config file, and everything's fine.

Thanks mr64bit!
