Callsign not registered
Isn't there a difference between the logon to this site and the BZFlag callsign? Some sites don't let me chat because my callsign isn't registered.

Are you having issues with third party websites, or are you calling game servers "sites"?

Some game servers don't let me chat. I'm "ShotInTheBack...Again". I think it the periods in my name that might be a problem?

Some servers only allow certain people to talk or spawn. For instance, league match servers will generally only allow members of the league to spawn or talk.

Both Gu league and Ducati league have public servers which will let you play/talk.
They also have Match servers which require membership in their prospective league in order to spawn & talk.
Check out both league sites: Be sure to read the home pages, you will find server information there.
