bzflag 2 .0 error No fonts found (the -directory option may

Post by swine » Mon Jan 24, 2005 9:58 pm

Mandrake 10.,1
raedon 9200
I can run bzflag fine but after I quit and try to start again I get
"No fonts found (the -directory option may help). Exiting"
The only way to get it to run is doing "make install" again.

I do like the improvments though!

Any one have any ideas?
Looks like the gene pool needs a little chlorine!

Make sure you have the bzflag.exe file in the same folder as your data directory. That's the simple fix :D

bzflag.exe on linux!?!?! that'd be fun to see

make sure your config dosn't have the wrong data dir. THis can sometimes happen if you have an old config and a new one.

 I must make the switch soon. However I'm having troubles getting BZFlag to work on Knoppix. (installing the RPM) But that's Knoppix, and I'll try to see if it works in Fedora, when it comes.

Use the -directory option!

Try this ...

bzflag -directory /usr/local/share/bzflag
