Text doesn't work

Hi

Having fixed my original problem of it simply not working, I am now looking for any advice as to why my text doesn't work.

I can see the main menu, my score and the radar and thats about it.

My computer is of a pretty high standard and new video drivers make the graphics worse, I just don't know why I can't see the text.

It is really annoying as obviousley I can't see what every body else has picked up until it tells me I've been killed by xxxx with L etc.

Any help as always would be fantastic

is it too small, is it blurred, is it not appearing, or is it appearing as []'s

I have to set it to run in 256 colours mode then drop the display setting down to 1024x768 @60mhz (to match my monitor) in order to play smoothly. At which point I lose the text completley.

If i drop the resolution even lower it becomes blurred and if I raise the res I can see it but can't relly play the game as it lags far too much.

I downloaded the newer video drivers and it appeared to have fixed the text problem...however it lags quite noticably.

Any tips

pressing w possibly could have fixed it maybe? or is it just blurred and you couldnt see the text box? well, that seems to work for me

Here's what you do, take a pen and write "text" on your monitor. And if you can't see it, let us know and we can set up an appointment for you. Otherwise, if you do see it great. Just don't tell us that you can't. BTW, this worked for me as I'm sure it will for you.

i think he means the scoreboard, ect.
