I ran a command I found on a site and it says its there (I think).

Code: Select all

[tanner@localhost ~]$ cd /usr/lib
[tanner@localhost lib]$ ls -l libssl*
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 126052 Jan 30 02:13 libssl3.so
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 320912 Jan 12 18:43 libssl.a
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     26 Mar 25 23:29 libssl.so -> ../../lib/libssl.so.0.9.7a
[tanner@localhost lib]$

It's probably a library that comes as part of another package. I'd check with your package manager (apt, yum, portage, etc) to see if you have openssl or curl installed. If not, install them, and try again.
