Where do I get libssl.so.0.9.7? I've searched google, but haven't found a download.

i think its refering to libCurl. not sure though

I ran a command I found on a site and it says its there (I think).

If you've a Debian based system, go to synaptics and search it

It's probably a library that comes as part of another package. I'd check with your package manager (apt, yum, portage, etc) to see if you have openssl or curl installed. If not, install them, and try again.

/me wonders if it was becuase he left in the Linux install waiting for a bit and when he came back it was already installed.
