I downloaded 2.8 and now I have texture rendering issues.
I can get the walls to look right but not the grass or visa versa.
ATi 7900 1920x1200

There used to be a high rez version. Is that still true with 2.8

Thanks for any help

Do you mean an nVidia 7900?

ATI mobility Radeon 9700
Sony vgn-a190 laptop

On any map:
Linear mipmap nearest & Nearest mipmap settings make the grass
or floor look correct. Detail in close and smooth defocus in distance.
Rock walls look correct. Brick walls are partially correct but parts
are small blocky gargabe.

If I select Nearest mipmap nearest then the walls and buildings are
correct but he floor/grass has excessive detail in distance (very noisy)

Im not sure if I have corrupted texture file or my video card is going south.

I have the lastest driver and also un-installed and re-installed bz

All is good now. Apperantly I had some cached files still around after un-installing. I discovered this after re-installing and all my settings were still there. It also didn't have to download any map.

Deleted "My BZflag" folder and re-installed. All is well now.

Waka Waka
