Hello all,
Well I have been having alot of problems with bzflag . Well here is the latest one: When I play it seems like I am obviously going 1/2 the speed of everybody else. Why is that? Is it like the opposite of the other guy. I happen to be using a proprietary tri-processor, no-name mobo (see my last post for a little more ) and i was thinking that it might be that windows isnt using it correctly (it has some type of hardware algorithim that makes windows think there is 2 processors for multi thread stuff. Then it takes like 1/2 of each tread and gives it to the 3rd processor which is like 125% faster than the other 2. I have no clue how it does this but it works flawlessly exept for obviously bzflag .
Thanks to everybody that has helped me .
Moving slower than i should be

Are you playing with keyboard? If yes, try to hit the "a"-key.

Well, that's funny - somewhat.
FYI: the timing for dual cores is real, it is connected to power management. The performance counter time measurement has to keep track of the current clock speed of the processors. And it didn't do that correctly on some configurations. I think it is fixed XP SP2 upward.

A tri-processor? What are you doing to it? A dual-socket mobo with a dual-core and a single-core?
