Moved to Privoxy...

Post by GMMan » Sat Oct 14, 2006 3:55 pm

I have just made the move to Privoxy. I configured all my browsers to use 127.0.0.1:8118 for HTML and SSL. I also set BZFlag to use port 81 on the list server so then it wouldn't mess up. I went into BZFlag and tried to connect to BZFX:Boxy War which didn't connect. I also discovered that the MOTD doesn't work. Now what else do I need to do?
I haven't touched BZFlag for years, but maybe sometime I'll make a comeback.

I'm on Twitter. And I mess with webOS. This signature is not a blog.

BZFX/Boxy War is in the process of transferring servers. The Boxy War you see is an authorized, donated server by Atarack Communications Inc (donated for 2 days - so that way I have plenty of time to move Boxy War). All of the plugins aren't running, and for simplicity's sake, MOTD is also disabled.

As for why Privoxy is causing these problems... I'm not really sure. Are you using Privoxy in combination with Tor?

No, I'm not using Privoxy with Tor. I'm using it just because I used it with Tor before and really liked Privoxy. I think Privoxy is currently doing everything fine, perhaps better with a little tweaking, but sometimes my internet gets interupted. I blame it on my ISP.
